Take a look at the Final Standings. Congratulations to Kansas for winning the 2008 National Championship. The final game was great fun to watch and a perfect way to end a great college basketball season. We hope you enjoyed the contest and thanks for your participation. Entry is free, but one entry per person. Limit of one player per email address. Sign-up starts March 16th, 2008 at approximately 8PM ET and ends March 20, 2008 at 12PM ET. No late sign-up. The contest is limited to the first 500 players. Bracket Deadline: All brackets are to be submitted online directly from this website. Brackets can be added, edited and deleted up until the bracket deadline on Thursday, March 20th at 12:00 PM ET. Scoring: Points are scored for each correct pick as follows. The player with the highest point total at the end of the tournament is the winner.
Tie-breaker: If no player wins the pool outright, then the tie-breaker is determined by the closest prediction to the total final score (both teams combined) in the National Championship Game. Players will enter a prediction on the bracket picksheet. If the tie-breaker does not determine the winner, a random drawing will be used to break the tie. Prizes: The Top Ten Players (i.e. highest point scores) and other interested parties are eligible to win SPL T-shirts. No purchase is necessary to win a prize. T-Shirt prizes must be claimed by e-mail by May 10, 2008. For complete rules, go here.
